I just need to write for a second about my best friend Kelsey. You know, somedays I wonder why I ended up at BYU, but I know that if for nothing else, I came to BYU to meet this girl.
We met freshmen year in the dorms-she was on my floor. We instantly were drawn to eachother because we both had that "get me out of here!" mentality and could recognize it in each other. It's been a happily ever after story ever since then. She has been there for me through some of the hardest moments in my life and I hope that I can be half the wise friend she has been to me for the past couple of years.
This past weekend, like every other Halloween weekend that we've known eachother, we crashed at her parents house about 30 minutes from BYU. We buried her childhood bird that died last week, we raked leaves and did yard work, we shopped, we napped, we ate, and ate some more, we baked, we danced, we painted nails, we went for walks, we talked about boys, and we shed some tears. She's the kind of friend where you really don't have to say anything, and she gets it. I literally feel like we are sisters and I'm thankful for her and her family....aka my adopted family. As excited as I am to graduate and move on with my life, I'm going to miss living with this girl so much! I feel as though she is an extension of myself and I don't think I tell her enough how awesome she is. I wouldn't be the same person I am today without her in my life.
So Kels, as you're laying about 20 feet away from me, trying to sleep, probably a little annoyed at my typing noises, I hope you know that shawty, you da best I eva had.

PS) Can you tell what we were for Halloween?
