(Taylor and I at prom, 2007)This past weekend, my good friend/pretend brother/pretend cousin Taylor got hitched to his high school sweetheart Maddie (high school sweethearts post picture). I've known him since I was 6 and he feels like my 5th brother.
My dad was their photographer. Didn't he do a great job?
I love weddings. Eveything about them.The pictures, the love, the energy, the food, the dancing, the decorations, the cake, the flowers.
I love being friends with both the bride AND the groom.
And I loved partying with them every step of the way.
Amanda is Taylor's blood cousin and her and I have been friends since age 6 as well.The whole weekend felt like a big ol' family reunion.
It was sooo much fun!

I loved the little details of their wedding. Maddie's family bought a parachute to decorate the church building.

How ingenius. Every little detail.... from the chandelier hanging from that parachute to the little fruit pieces shaped in a heart..... were stunning.
I'm not sure which is more amazing-Kris' balancing abilities on his severely bald head or the quick-handed photography skills of my faja.

Oh yeah, and guess who caught the bouquet?
