Frisbee lovin

I just realized that last post was my 300th.
HOT DOG!
***
Anyways, today was a great day.
I was sitting up in my room working on my online classes when all of a sudden I get a call from my good old friend Justin from high school.
He is one of my very best friends.
Him and I could sit and chat for hours.
And the beauty of it, is that he has a girlfriend. I have a Ryan. And we genuinely just enjoy our friendship.
Anyways, he called me and said he was driving by so I invited him over.
We sat down and ate a popsicle, then we went outside and played frisbee until I threw it in the lake behind my house.
Now, if any of y'all have been to my house you would remember that the Lochness Monster lives in that lake.
I wish I was kidding.

We could have easily run to Target that is approximately 2.3 miles from my house but noooo we had to be AdVenTUroUs!!!!!!!!!!!!
So...we ran up to my garage and grabbed whatever we could find.
4 rakes
3 things of rope
2 snow sleds
1 bucket

The oh so precious frisbee was pretty far out there and we were orginally going to rope the rakes together and make a big long arm and then send Justin out rafting on the snow sleds to try and retrieve it.
But as soon as we put the sleds in the water 2 things happened.
#1) It sunk
#2) Gigantic spiders the size of my palm started climbing all over and we both just couldn't take it

So after a lot of thought and frustration and me feeling stupid because we had spent 2 hours in the blazing sun trying to get a $5 dollar frisbee out of the lake, Justin came up with the idea of tying a bucket to a rope and lasso-ing (is that even a word) the frisbee back to shore.
And guess what?

It worked!
That frisbee is suddenly very valuable to us both.
But I guess that what happens to anything you work hard for :) ...if ya catch my drift.
What a random day.
Just what I needed.
PS) I can't stand the Lakers...especially Kobe. UGh

Too bad that ray allen was having such a crap series against them. Oh well, here come the jazz (and I guess the spurs) next year!
