One word for y'all: ANXIETY. Now that school is over my emotions are having a hay-day with my brain and I'm a little bit overwhelmed and, well, scared out of my mind.
But, faith can't exist with fear. And right now, fear's winning 100,000,000 to one.
So in an effort to increase my faith, and decrease my fears, I'm going to start something called "Thoughtful Thursday" where I post a spiritual POD and a thought that will hopefully calm me the heck down.

“Please remember this one thing. If our lives….are centered upon Jesus Christ…nothing can ever go permanently wrong. On the other hand, if our lives are not centered on the Savior and His teachings, no other
success can be permanently right.” –Howard W. Hunter
A lot of the time, that's not where my focus is. I start focusing on how I can make it happen instead of having the faith to let Him make it happen.
"They were slothful, and forgot to exercise their faith and diligence and then those marvelous works ceased, and they did not progress in their journey." Alma 37:41.
It really is simple. Just like when we are slothful, when we forget, or when we make poor choices, there will be consequences. But when we turn to Him, have faith, and believe, there will be blessings. And miracles. And "marvelous works" that will help us progress.
Why is that so hard for me to believe sometimes?
Probably because it has to begin with me.
