"Come what may, and LOVE IT!"

This past Saturday my friend Kelsey got us tickets to the Saturday PM session of CONFERENCE!!! Oh my gosh...what an AWESOME experience. I loved everything about it...except it was rainy and cold. Boo! Ashton and I are getting really really good at the UTA bus system......hahahaha
Ok, so this picture is totally lame, but can you blame me? Our shoes were hawt.

Me, Ashton (my roomie), and Kelsey (next door friend)
BEAUTIFUL!
Conference was especially special because KC IS GETTING A TEMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cute mom was crying all day she was so happy. This is SUCH an amazing, wonderful, fabulous blessing from a kind and caring Heavenly Father. I absolutely cannot wait!
Now the big question(s): Big or small temple? Where? Any guesses?
I say BIG and in Liberty....hahaha, dream on, I know.
I loved conference. Being away from family and watching it alone really made me appreciate it more for some reason. I was listening for ME, and not because my parents were doing it. I know that those men are called of God and we are all SO blessed to be taught by them. Any favorites?
I missed Saturday AM because I was on the bus to get to Salt Lake...and then I missed parts of Sunday because I was, yes, working (at the dang Cannon Center!)
From what I heard, it was amazing. Some of my favs were Wirthlin (wasn't he hilarious!), Holland (as always, he is one of my favs), Eyring, and Ballard. But really, they all rock.
My sister in law Meagan's aunt, Sister Allred, spoke Saturday morning! I bet it was great!
I just finished the most hectic week of my life last week. Oh my gosh, it was INSANE. 10 hours in the library in ONE DAY is 10 hours too many. I might as well bring a pillow and my toothbrush next time. SHEESH!
Ryan comes in 10 days. My mom comes in 17. Life is good.
In the words of Joseph B. Wirthlin's mother....."Come what may, and LOVE IT!"
Amen!

Conference WAS amazing! and not in the 1 1/2 years since I moved from KC has anything made me MORE homesick than hearing the announcement about the temple! What a truly awesome blessing!

Whitney, I found your blog through Amber's and it was fun to catch up on your life. It looks like you are living it up in Provo--how fun for you!! I thought about all of you Nielsens with the announcement of a KC temple and I just think it's so awesome!!! Well, I hope BYU is treating you well and you survive your first semester!! LOL Take care!

I'm glad you're having a good time with your roommates. Those are some of my best memories from college. Enjoy it.
