Nursing

Here's all my nursing books that I have right now. Doesn't it kind of remind you of the Empire State Building?
How it's so tall and never ending and you can't believe that something can stack up so high?
Ridic. (short for ridiculous).
Anyways, nursing really has taught me a lot. Let's review what I've learned so far:
* A "C" letter grade is the new "A".
* I would rather touch blood and/or guts than poop. Poop is poop, people.
I get grossed out by my own poop now thanks to nursing school.... TMI...
* Old people used to be young like me, and one day I'm going to be old and very, very saggy.
* Smoking is pretty crappy for your whole body.
* Taking showers is really important. Not so much for you, but for your nurses.
* People who have done the most drugs, are usually the nicest patients.
* Diabetes is a b.

Nursing school has been such a ride, I tell you what. This semester definitely kicked me in the nads, and I don't even have nads! I learned so much though, and I gained such a greater appreciation for the service that nursing provides. It's not so much a job, but a new way of life. It's starting to become part of the definition of who I am and I hope to be the kind of nurse that truly heals, inside and out
.......even if I don't get the best grades. uhhh...that's all I'll say about that.

oh whitney, I love you, your pile of books, thoughts on poop, and drug usage. :) Seriously...you're the BEST!

and "Cs" are TOTALLY the new "As" in college. I thought I was so smart until I went to college :)
