I HATE the first week or 2 of school. It's brutal.
Especially this semester (ok I probably say that every semester.)
But I'm doing real nursey stuff. It's hard and it makes me want to throw up.

My friend Brent and I have a running joke about "Christmas" "New Years" "Martin Luther King Day" miracles. Aka-whenever something good happens, we profess that it's a
"(insert holiday here) miracle."
Even though the first week of school is not necessarily a holiday, (ok, far from it), I have had some "First day of School Miracles."
1) I was carrying home $400 dollars worth of textbooks late one night, my bags ripped, and my books spilled everywhere. Luckily, this kid walking right behind me said, "Oh, I've actually got an empty bag in my backpack you can use!"
Score.

2) My pathophysiology professor announced that he was engaged to his wife for 4 1/2 years before they got married (that includes his mission.) And that 6 days after he arrived home from his mission, they were hitched.
Gives me some hope! ha!

3) One of my professors announced that he assigns an 8-10 page paper on diabetes every semester that requires extensive research and usually takes students the entire semester.
But, by miracle, he decided that he wasn't going to assign it this year.
There is a God.

This week can still hurry up and be over.
