"Whinny....I've made sure my diaper is extra gross just for you!" On Saturday Ryan and I got to babysit my 2 year old nephew Carter while my sister in law went to a funeral for her grandpa.
I never get to have special time with him because there's always a million people around.
I got to cuddle him, kiss him, hug him, spoil him, love him....it was heaven.
I'm documenting this more to help me remember how sweet it was to sing him to sleep, have him fall asleep against my chest, and then cuddle him as he woke up (and then spoil him with ice cream!!)
I am SOOOO excited to have another nephew in April, but I think Carter (my first nephew) will always hold a special place in my heart. I love him so much!

Oh whit...this had me tearin up because there really is something special about the bond between aunties and neices/nephews! My kids ADORE theirs, and I love seeing the unique things they share! so cute!
