SO COOL!!

The coolest. thing. ever. happened to me today.
One of my super good friends here (Kelsey friend) has the hookups and I was sooo lucky to be able to go to the Christmas devotional with her and her family. We were TEN ROWS back from the pulpit. Ok maybe 11, but 10 sounds better. Just picture this: Elder Holland was on the same row as me. Elder Bednar was 2 rows in front. Elder Hales and Elder Ballard were behind me a row........can you say AMAZING?!!!! We got to park in the parking lot with all of the apostles, and go through the tunnel they all walk in! As we were walking in that special little tunnel, apostles and even Elder Eyring passed by (I guess the prophet passed by when I was using the little girls room DANGIT!) We got to come into the conference center the same way all the important people do-from behind the stage! After the devotional I went up to and talked to Elder Holland and thanked him for his bomb diggity devotional that he gave at BYU in September (don't worry, I didn't say bomb diggity to him.) His sweet wife gave me a hug and we actually had a conversation! Everywhere I looked there was someone cool-the general relief society presidency, apostles, seventy...they were EVERYWHERE!!! Later I got to meet Elder Ballard again and Elder Oaks (who greeted me with a "HEY YOU!") Seriously, it was so cool. It was amazing to feel their spirit and see them just as ordinary men called to do such an important work. What an opportunity for a small town Missouri girl huh? THANKS KELS....you're da bomb.
I love the Clayton family. They take care of me and feed me delicious food.

The rest of the weekend was AWESOME too..... I went to SLC to see the lights on temple square with my ward and got to hang out with some WONDERFUL friends (pictures to come). Seriously, they are the best. I have been blessed to find some friends that I've been looking for all my life.
I also went on a beautiful 5 mile run with Kels, and got everything on my to-do list done.

What an A++++ weekend! Bring on finals baby! It's business time.
